What Denise ate today

I’ve had a few people ask me about the food I eat and exercise. So here’s my diary from today.

I woke and drank a pint of water. After sleeping for hours I’m sure i’m dehydrated so I fill a pint glass and drink it down.

I then have a cup of coffee, quicky dress then walked for just over 2 miles. A second cup of coffee when I got home.Breakfast-closeup

I don’t eat breakfast immediately but it’s a protein rich one. Sometimes just 2 hard boiled eggs, sometimes rollmop herring and tomatoes but often scrambled eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. We had some smoked salmon left over so I had that as well today.

 

I was busy with work all morning and drank herb teas and water. Then for lunch I made a big salad.

Mid afternoon I was hungry so had 25gms of almonds and then for dinner had poached salmon and a big plate of roasted vegetables – aubergine, courgette, onions, mushrooms, peppers and tomato, again lots of colour.

I won’t be eating supper but I’ll have a couple of cups of tea.
